Whiskey Pork and Apples

Wide River Wheat
Ingredients
¼ cup Wide River Wheat
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tsp Dijon mustard
½ tsp minced fresh ginger
2 large tart apples peeled, and chopped
½ cup craisins soaked in 1/3 cup Wide River
2 cups pork loin roast or chops
Directions

Soak the craisins in the 1/3 cup Wide River Wheat.
Mix the ¼ cup Wide River Wheat with the soy sauce, brown sugar, mustard, and ginger.

Marinate the pork for 4 hour or overnight.

When ready to cook the meat, brown the meat and pour the marinade over it and add the apples and craisins.

Cover and cook until the pork reaches 150 degrees.

Let it rest for 10 minutes and serve with potatoes or rice.
