Pride Of The Wapsi Strawberry Vodka
Ingredients
½ cup (1 stick) butter, room temperature
1 cup sugar
3 cups eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp Pride of the Wapsi Strawberry Vodka
1 cup flour
½ tsp salt
½ tsp baking powder
1 lb strawberries, trimmed and sliced

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cream together butter and sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.

Add the eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.

Add the vanilla.

Add flour, salt, baking powder and lemon zest.

Add the strawberries to a buttered 2-quart baking dish.

Cover with batter.

Bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
Cool for 15 to 20 minutes before serving
