Pride of the Wapsi Strawberry Vodka Rhubarb Sauce

Pride Of The Wapsi Strawberry Vodka
Ingredients
1 qt fresh or frozen chopped rhubarb
2 cups cleaned and quartered fresh strawberries
¾ cup white sugar
1 ½ cups Pride of the Wapsi Strawberry Vodka
Directions

Stir together the rhubarb and strawberries with the sugar.

Allow this to sit about 30 minutes until some juice forms.

In a large heavy bottomed sauce pan heat and stir this mixture over a medium heat until the rhubarb is shredding apart.

Remove from heat and add the Strawberry Vodka.

At this point you need to decide if you want some excitement in your life. Because if you do….FLAMBE that sauce and then slam a lid on it to keep some of the Vodka active.

Serve this warm over cake or ice cream.

It can be put into clean jars and frozen as well.
