Cody’s Crusty Bourbon & Beer Bread

Cody Road Bourbon
Ingredients
¼ cup butter
3 cups all purpose flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp baking power
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp honey
1 ¼ cups Great River Roller Dam Red Beer
¼ cup Cody Road Bourbon Whiskey
Directions

Melt butter. Put half of it into a standard bread pan. Reserve the rest.

In a mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

Add honey, beer and Cody Road.

Mix just until moistened

Put batter into the pan on top of the melted butter.

Top with the remainder of the melted butter.

Bake at 350° for 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Cool on rack.
