Mississippi River Distilling Company is responding to the coronavirus pandemic by converting our distillery to a hand sanitizer production facility.  We thank you for your overwhelming response to our hand sanitizer production!

Pricing:

1 gallon jug $40

Case of four 1 gallon jugs $140 ($35 each)

Order of 96 gallons (24 cases) or more $120 per case ($30 each)
NOTE: Discount will be applied when we invoice you

55 gallon drum $1,650 ($30 per gallon)

Palette configurations:  4 drums (1500#) or 192 gallon jugs (48 cases of four-1500#).

1) BULK ORDERS AT THE DISTILLERY

Now that our retail shop is open, you can come and get hand sanitizer without ordering ahead.  Single gallon purchases are available any time.  If you are looking for bulk orders, we’re handling orders of one case (4 gallons) or more here at the distillery. Click the button below to order online.  We do ask that if you’re ordering more than 5 cases, you place an order online so we can have it ready for you.  If  you order online, you will receive an email from us with pickup information.  In most cases, your order can be ready within 24 hours.  Your order will be picked up at the distillery.  We are able to offer LTL shipping on orders of 6 cases or more.

2) SINGLE GALLON PURCHASES AT DISTILLERY OR LOCAL RETAIL OUTLETS

You can come to our distillery any time and pick up single gallons.  We are also partnering with local retailers to help handle the large volume of orders.  Feel free to stop by the distillery during our regular hours or visit any of the retailers listed below.

3) PERSONAL SIZE BOTTLES

We are working with SImply Soothing (The Bug Soother People) in Columbus Junction, Iowa to provide smaller size bottles.  They are offering 1.8 oz, 3.6 oz and 7.0 oz bottles.  These smaller bottles are available from the Simply Soothing website.

Splash in Moline, IL is packaging our hand sanitizer into a 2 ounce spray bottle.  These smaller bottles are available from the Splash website.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHEN CAN I GET IT?

Most orders are ready for pickup within 24 hours.

WHAT IS IT?

The government has approved one very straightforward and basic formula. This will be 80% ethyl alcohol with peroxide, glycerin and water. It is a straight forward institutional style sanitizer solution. This is not a gel and has no fragrance added. It will easily work in a spray bottle as it has a watery consistency.

WHAT IS THE PRICE?

We are selling it for $50 per gallon for single gallons ($0.39 per ounce) or $40 per gallon for orders of 4 gallons or more. ($0.31 per ounce).  We’re doing all we can to keep the pricing reasonable.  Comparable Purell high alcohol sanitizer is priced at $0.34 an ounce retail (which is sold out).

CAN YOU SHIP IT TO ME?

Most orders will need to be picked up at our facility at 303 North Cody Road in LeClaire.  Because of the high alcohol content, this product is flammable.  Therefore, it is not allowed to be shipped by USPS, UPS, FedEx or comparable carriers.  We are working with local LTL trucking companies who will be able to haul this hazardous material via palette load.  The cost for shipping is $100 per palette around Iowa and Illinois.  Minimum shipping quantity is 9 cases or 1 55 gallon drum.  If you are shipping elsewhere, we will provide a shipping quote before you pay.  Smaller personal sizes are available above that can be ordered online.

HOW WILL IT BE DISPENSED?

This will be packaged in bulk one gallon jugs.  There is not a pump attached.  We encourage people to save any dispenser bottles they might have and use this product as a refill.  This product works best in spray bottles.  It will work in a pump, but the spray bottle is more effective and will minimize waste.
