Spirit: Mono Loco Banana Flavored Whiskey


1 yellow cake mix
½ cup oil
½ cup water
½ cup Mono Loco Banana Whiskey
4 large eggs
1 [3.4 oz.] box of French Vanilla Pudding Mix
1 cup chopped pecans
½ cup Mono Loco Banana Whiskey
¼ cup water
1 cup light brown sugar
¼ pound butter
¼ cup finely chopped pecans


Pre heat the oven to 325 degrees.
Generously grease the Bundt pan.
In an electric mixer beat the cake mix, oil, water, Mono Loco, eggs and pudding mix.
Put the first cup of nuts in the cake pan then add the cake batter and bake for about 50 minutes to an hour or until the cake tests done with a tooth pick.

Make the topping while the cake is baking.
Put the Mono Loco, water, brown sugar and butter into a small sauce pan and bring to a boil.
Boil this mixture for 3 minutes and add pecans.
Pour the hot topping over the HOT cake while it is in the cake pan.
Let this stand in the pan for no less than 30 minutes and invert onto a plate.
Add a drizzle of warm hot caramel ice cream topping or flambé some bananas with River Baron and brown sugar.
