Spirit: Cody Road Maple Whiskey


6 slices bacon fine diced
1 medium onion fine diced
1 tbsp minced garlic
8 oz Cody Road Maple Whiskey
8 oz Great River Maple Syrup (preferrably their Cody Road Barrel Aged variety)
8 oz bbq sauce. (your choice)
1 tsp black pepper
Pinch of salt


Render bacon to almost crispy then add onion and garlic cook down till onion is soft.  

Add both bourbon and the maple syrup cook off alcohol add bbq sauce black pepper and salt cook to combined or 2 to 3 minutes.

Then use as glaze or as you would regular bbq sauce.
